"Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." (Titus 2:3-5, ESV)

Women's Ministry

In the beginning God made people in his image, male and female he created them to display his glory to the world (Gen. 1:27). God is not represented in this world through his people without women partaking in that work. Women have a unique perspective on the world. They engage the world differently than men. They have gifts that men don't. If we want to be faithful to the mandates, commands, and commissions of God in Christ we need to equip and empower women to work as partners.

It is our aim to build up a women's ministry that connects women to train and mentor one another for gospel ministry. Early in the life of a church we are still discerning who we are and what our needs and abilities are. Currently we are unfolding multiple bible study opportunities for women to grow in their knowledge of the word and their ability to teach other women. From this we hope to build a team of women who are on mission together to expound on the unsearchable riches of Christ together and make his glory known in our city.
